Being Veteran Panel Discussion

  • Hennepin History Museum 2303 Third Ave South Minneapolis, MN 55404 (map)

When was the last time you intentionally listened to another person's perspective?

Being Veteran is the second in a series of live conversations in conjunction with the Being Human: Stories from Humans of Minneapolis exhibit at Hennepin History Museum. Each event is meant to foster understanding and awareness between the people in our community.

Being Veteran features a panel of people who have been highlighted as part of the Humans of Minneapolis storytelling project:

Samuel Boney, Corporal, U.S. Army

Renee McCloden, President, VFW Auxiliary Post #246

Winston Kettle, Chief Petty Officer, Navy Seabees

They will share their lived experiences as they relate to being a veteran in Minnesota and beyond. The conversation will be moderated by HOM Founder & Executive Director, Stephanie Glaros. Light refreshments will be served.

Admission is free, but seating is limited so please reserve your spot.

Visiting the museum at this time does require the use of stairs.
